'm On Monday evening I met with him and Andrin out for a beer on University Avenue in nearby Palo Alto. Fortunately, he has for his week here, rented a car (a Ford Mustang ) and thus was the jagged. Next they were also already back home, or to Google, where I had my bike, and then home.

Portola Redwoods State Park

Patrick is now already in Switzerland, but as I found out last Friday, but Andrin come here for a week. On Saturday I went
then with Gary (one of my colleagues), his girlfriend and a friend of his girlfriend in the Portola Redwoods State Park .

Today I was together with about 15 other interns in the Muir Woods north of San Francisco. This 2.5 square-kilometer nature reserve was established to protect a particular species, the Coast Redwood (Sequoia, Sequoia) in this area. In short, it is simply a well-preserved forest with some nice routes. Thus, also applies to such strange formations like in the picture below.

Shortly before 10 clock I was picked up by Xiaolei (so early I get up even during the week rarely, that was hard ... (Yes, I mean the morning)) and then we went with him and 2 other interns in the car to San Francisco via the Golden Gate Bridge , to the Muir Woods (point marked on the map right). With a shuttle we went to the actual park, where we met the others. After about 2 hours we arrived back at our starting point and we went back to Mountain View, where we were all together in a Thai restaurant to complete the whole.
All are photos here, with the group photos are still missing, since I still do not get this.

last Saturday were Patrick and I in the Chili's for dinner, otherwise there was nothing interesting. And on Friday we were (again) in the cinema for Knocked Up .
Last weekend was the original plan to actually go to LA and from there into Disneyland and Universal Studios or so, but unfortunately fell into the water because everything was a bit short, Patrick had to work at least one day and I was not feeling well at the weekend. :-( Well

And soon I Patrick leave work completely for 3 weeks! He goes to Switzerland on holiday, and all major parties, which I will unfortunately miss this year all :-( One of them is the annual BBQ he Siro & organize each crate. So, good people 'who have the chance to go this year: Do not miss it, otherwise you brings Santa Claus (or bog, or Siro, or both).
