If anyone thought about what I wanted to do well in Arizona, he will probably have quickly found out I was at the Grand Canyon !
More specifically, I was on the north side, which has only 10% of all visitors to the Grand Canyon because it is difficult to achieve, but should still have the better view. will give first time we went to Bright Angel Point, a lookout point which particularly good view of the Bright Angel Fault. The Bright Angel Fault means a break in the tectonic plates, runs through the canyon and still cause a smaller but significant earthquake. as one of the top layers of a light layer of sandstone. The same shift is also on the north side, from where I took the photo. However, this layer on the north side is well-50m higher than on the south side.
Next they were still on a path into the canyon, but that was then photographed difficult to capture well (it has some pictures in the gallery). Easy to hold were against the squirrels who jumped around everywhere. They never came very close, and when you moved, they ran away, but I could watch the animals for hours :-) It had lots of it.
During the twilight I was then slowly up again, and even planned a path towards California. During the return of the little streets I saw many of the fighters from last night again, all in their military clothes. Was interesting that many of them with bow and arrow for hunting to go, not just the two have to me yesterday about himself.
Shortly after Fredonia, Arizona I still had almost run over a rabbit, but fortunately was able to brake and he could jump on. I think that was the first time I saw a rabbit in a free career (and nearly killed ...).
